Laura Xiomara Guevara was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She attended Fashion School at the Arturo Tejada Cano in Bogota. At 18 she was fortunate to get her first job at a women’s clothing studio, with zero experience besides what she was learning at Fashion School she started as a seamstress and quickly moved to the cutting room, pattern making, quality control and soon she was in charge of the manufacturing studio. In 2001 she moved to Texas, she has worked in multiple manufacturing facilities designing, sketching, cutting, sewing, training, as well as manufacturing for other designers. Laura’s years of work experience in the clothing manufacturing industry gives her an advantage, knowledge and ability to develop a garment from concept to completion that very few designers have.

Laura has always held a fascination with fashion history, especially focusing on the 16th thru 18th centuries. Through the years, she has discovered a true love for corsets, bridal gowns, undergarments and swimwear
